Next up on our feature this week is Jeff and Su’s wedding ceremony held at the Atlanta Evergreen Marriott’s beautiful lakeside pavilion.
When I found out I would be photographing at this location, I knew that it would be an amazing sight to see and provide for some stunning images! We started out the day having Jeff getting ready with his groomsmen and Su getting ready with her bridesmaids and family. I could sense the nervousness from both the bride and groom as they were getting ready for their first look but once these two saw each other for the first time, they were all smiles and anxiously waiting the ceremony.
Every wedding is unique in its own way, whether it be a specific vision the couple has for their wedding or including multiple ceremonies. What I loved about Jeff and Su’s wedding ceremony was that it was totally nontraditional by having a female priest that made the ceremony so enjoyable for everyone to understand what was actually going on. I feel like this is something that lacks in our culture as ceremonies are performed and no one really knows what is happening. That was certainly not the case at Jeff and Su’s wedding! Everyone, including the couple, was beaming with smiles throughout the ceremony as she explained all of the details in the most relatable and even comical way!
Jeff and Su had two ceremonies, the Hindu ceremony as well as a traditional wedding ceremony performed by Jeff’s uncle. I loved the fact that they decided to say their vows (video highlights coming soon!!) in front of their friends and family and it really felt like everything was leading up to that first kiss as husband and wife. Truly one of the most beautiful wedding ceremonies I have been part of, take a look!
